Enterprise Crossing to Georgetown, SC - day 126

Raised anchor and motored out of the creek. Low tide on our way out (was high on our way in) but still pretty good depths, nothing under 8 foot. Motored past a few other sailboats anchored along the creek on our way out.

Pretty easy day, just motoring along again. Very windy through the night and into this morning/afternoon, but other than that nice beautiful day.

As we got close to Georgetown we debated on wether to anchor or to pop into the marina. The wind was blowing pretty good, and the forecast was looking cold (single digit celsius over night) so we decided to go for the marina option. We called and booked a slip at the Harbourwalk Marina, and this ended up being a nice choice. Very nice marina, and we quickly got in for a pump out, some diesel and helped onto the dock at our slip. Hooked up at dock to shore power we can run our electric heater which is nice on a cold night.

Went our for dinner at the River Room which was lovely, and got a nice sleep while the wind was whistling through the rigging overnight.

We'll spend two nights here, and then weather is looking good to head off shore again. We haven't been out in the ocean since coming down the Jersey coast and we are looking forward to getting back out there at this point.
