Decided to tackle installing new engine mounts this winter, and it turns out it's probably a good thing I did. The old ones were obviously pretty worn, but I hadn't noticed that one of them was actually not even attached. It turns out the bold (hidden inside the attachment bracket) had come out, and the engine was more or less rattling on top of the mount. Pretty ugly situation, and glad I got into this project before this got worse or started causing much larger problems.
Very happy with these engine mounts as well, after market from parts4engines.com. Haven't put them through their paces yet, but they seem well made and match up well with the old ones.
I've also included a picture of the rear engine mounts. I had a hard time visualizing how they went together exactly, so this view of them apart helps show that.
Aligning the engine was a tricky process for the first time, but I think I've got it well sorted. Will need to realign after going back in the water, but looks pretty good for now.
