Oswego Lock O-7 to Oswego Marina - day 339

Today we were booked into the marina, and we only had a half nautical mile to do. We left the free wall, and went right into lock O-8 for the last drop down to lake level. We had a short chat to the lock master who also has a small sailboat and is planning a trip south some day, so that was fun.

We stopped at the fuel dock to get a pump out at the marina, and then figured out our slip assignment. It was blowing pretty good, but we got into our slip and quickly got to work getting everything ready to mast step early the next morning. We were second on the list, and they started at 8am, so it was going to be an early one.

We sorted out all our lines, and stays, got the turnbuckles all back on and things organized on the mast. All our pins accounted for, and ready to be installed. We went out for dinner at a nearby restaurant and ate inside to enjoy the very refreshing air conditioning after a long hot day.

Tomorrow we'll become a sailboat again, and weather is still looking great for a crossing on Tuesday.
